hate to see higgins handed a title like this? you havin a laugh? do you realise how good all these guys are? he beat wenbo who just had a run to the semis of the german, beat luca who just knocked out selby, beat maguire who been one of the form players recently. you can only beat who is infront of you and he done it pretty convincingly. just be glad one of the best players ever has came back into some kind of form and looks like getting back to winning titles.

It's not about how good the players he beat on his way to the final are or were in other matches. It's about how they played against him on the day. And not a lot of that was down to Higgins freezing them out, either, particularly the Maguire match. As to being glad he is coming back into form depends on what you think about Higgins himself. Agreed he is one of the best players ever, maybe even the best all rounder, as I said in a previous post, but that doesn't mean everyone wants to see him win again.
