Your astute observations are rather contradicted by the fact that you put a bet on a player and then spend the rest of the time telling everyone how useless they are - during the Masters you were telling us Ronnie didn't know how to matchplay.
Selby's performance in the 2014 final was less impressive than his performance in the 2007 WC, when I thought he played a more positive game, even though he lost.
And no, Trump may never be as good as ROS, Higgins, or MJW, but then barely anyone is. He can certainly achieve Selby's level, as he's showing greatly improved tactical nous and real fighting spirit. It wasn't until Reardon came along that Ronnie started playing a truly all-round game, so Trump has plenty of time.

I am sure you will now tell me that he won 5 majors last year .. go on!
You think Ding is more talented than Trump, yet I say Ding is a prime example of being overrated - he was going to be this new Ronnie O'Sullivan, casting all before him and leading the Chinese domination of snooker. How's that going so far?
Trump merely took a long time to break through, but since he won the China Open he's never looked back.
So what's the benchmark? Wins before the age of 20? Total wins? Style of wins? Earlier you said Walden was better when he's "on" but Walden has won what, 3 of the lesser events, all in China? Trump's won those PLUS the UK and some minor events.
Not living up to expectations is not the same as being rubbish, or else there's never been a good player in the game.
