2015 Betfred World Snooker Championship Qualifying Draw
Steve Davis beats Jamie Cope 10-9 on the Black and will player the winner of the Kurt Maflin V David Grace match next well done the Nugget, not sure if Jamie Cope's tour place for next season his safe now it all depends on results
Ronnie O' Sullivan seven times the record breaking Snooker Master
Would of loved to see white v wattana, but i suppose wilson sharav lemon and milkins are the 4 players who will draw the big crowds and ticket buyers, so theyre on the tv tables.
Davis getting his moneys worth out of the table light there
Was hoping for a black ball respot
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins. I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Jamie over did the final blue to pink, or he would have won it.
Davies didn't get the pace of the table, kept running out of position too many times. he was getting frustrated and let out a loud groan in the decider when he lost position when he was in among the balls.
although i'm glad he got through to round 2 of the qualifiers, i fear he will struggle against a better opponent and fear he may not make the finals unless he makes a vast improvement in form
Hard to disagree with those comments. Steve had a number chances and fluffed it but fair play, he sunk 2 great balls at the end. We should remember he hasn't played on the tour this season so he's entitled to be a tad rusty. Hope he can find more fluency in the next round.
A win is a win and as a Davis fan I hope he can continue to improve and get into the worlds.
He may no longer be at the top of the game but he is still a formidable opponent and on a good day would give anyone a tough time.
Lets face it the guy is an utter legend - all those titles all those breaks all these years and still beating much younger world class players.
He is older than the hills and yet his rock solid technique has stood the test of time even as a part time player and I think he is an absolute credit to the game. Funny guy too one of the best you can see in an exhibition and not many - if any - around today can hold a crowd in the palm of his hand knock in centuries crack jokes and have the crowd in stitches like he does.

A rare find - like a golden nugget.
+1,
I remember being impressed reading about Ray Reardon's so called Indian summer, when Steve was one of his victims. Things have come round full circle now.
