      • What a fluke to finish the session. It´s hard to tell who´ll be standing with the trophy tomorrow.

        • Also the whole atmosphere in the theatre is exactly how it should be...it's just simply beautiful! Everybody in the arena is loving this final between 2 extremely lovable guys...and it shows. Both players are supported and egged on, everyone has a superb and close battle in mind...right to that final frame decider!

Fantastic and very exciting to watch! :snooker:

          • Wonderful session of snooker, brilliant standard for the most prestigeous match of the year. I was little worried when 8-4 for Shaun, but Stuart proved himself once again.
Had to take a day off in work, but it is so much worth it.
            I still cheer for Bingham - 18-15!

            • That was just lovely. And a nice bit of tactical play at the end to top it off. Shaun deserves his lead I think, because he's not been behind in this one, yet...

              The fast and the furious,
              The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

                • On a different note, it is so enjoyable to not have RObertson moaning or Trump getting his lucky runs or RoS with his antics ... such a pleasant atmosphere in the absence of those guys and quality as good or even better at times .. lovely to see the exchange of smiles between the players throughout the match ... that is how it should be ... am so sick of the "top guys" ruining the atmosphere with their bad behavior

                  • Not bad for what someone said was going to be a ' damp squib ' of a final
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                    • Don't actually mind who wins for once which makes it weird watching the final...

Part of me is rooting for Bingham as the 'underdog' who just won't go away, but then again Murphy has picked himself from a pretty low point in his career only a couple of seasons ago and has got back to the top mostly through hard work and self-belief it seems.

                      • An excellent battle between these two fine players.
I never expected it to be this close as Murphy had
been potting everything in sight last match but we
all know snooker is a strange game where one day
you cant miss and the next it isnt as easy.
Both players are playing well and making the shots
when needed. Tomorrow will be quite the finish.

                        • Had a bet on Murphy in November when he was 20/1... and whilst I didn't use to like Murphy that much, he's grown on me more and more. Then again Bingham's run through to the final and how emotional he got makes me think it would be great to see him win it. So I'll be happy whoever wins it, would love a final frame decider tho!

                          • Great scoring from both players again tonight, and the match has remained close. I don't want it finishing before midnight tomorrow.
