The BBC have chosen to show the Allen v Day match rather than Williams v Stevens, when the latter is clearly the match most of the audience both there and (I imagine) at home would rather watch.
The audience in the arena was pretty evenly split, and I got the wrong seat so ended up missing the Allen-Day frames I wanted to see, and left at the interval of Williams-Stevens because it was gonna be dull. Turns out I was right

Depends entirely on your definition of dull That last frame was highly enjoyable to me and the way this match is going, I have a feeling we're in for more of the same

Agreed! Gav certainly has a strange interpretation of 'dull'
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

I like my world-class snooker to look world-class, not ridiculous in-offs all the time
However, that one frame was, I'll grant you, quite entertaining.
well Stevens playing the best I have seen him play for a long time.
Cynical comment: maybe as he has gone for bankruptcy (Snooker Scene this month) he has an extra incentive for the money
