Lovely session of snooker, very tense right from the start. :smile:

Trump did really well to limit the damage in the end, and we've seen many matches turn in the past after a player had got away with a weak session, last year's final being the perfect example. Looking forward to tonight now, hopefully we get a midnight finish. :smile:

Can Trump hit top gear under this mountain of pressure? The pressure isn't just from himself, it's the occasion and being the bookie favourite in the match. I think when it comes to pressure very few players thrive in it. Trump doesn't strike me as one of those. Hendry did and Selby sometimes does but not many others.

In other sports if you look at for example Djokovic and Nadal, the greater the pressure the higher the level of play. Whereas someone like Federer is closer to what I see in Trump, a great front runner.

Sadly, I think Murphy is favourite to take the title, if only because of the 'time off' he's getting, prior to the final, opposed to Bingham / Trump.
