The missed red to middle in the 6th frame ? was possibly worse as all the reds were on.
So its Murphy v Carter in a repeat of the UK semi of 2012 ? hope Carter doesn't blow a lead like then and King now,deja vu etc.

I remember a few years ago Mark King was interviewed and he said he wanted to be remembered as the best player ever,I chuckled at the time but at least you can see where he's coming from now,one frame from the final and he's only lost one frame in his 6 matches,impressive.

One of the worst players ever to make the top 16 in my opinion. But they all have their day at some stage and this comp was his day, still blew it though. Big fan of Shaun but it would be great if Ali could win. Looking forward to the final.

Nice to see Carter v Murphy and either player winning
would have been ok. Murphy didnt seem 'settled' in his
usual way, not to take anything away from Carter who
seems to have improved his mental game a lot since
coming back. Well done.

It was great to see Ali lifting the trophy, I am really happy for him. Well played to Shaun as well, his long potting was well-off his usual standart, yet he got to the final.
Looking forward for more busy snooker days now, when summer break is over.
