If snooker was all like this we would have no game

I think Mark Allen was wrong to have the balls replaced when Robertson has that thin blue. He could have taken pink as free ball and knocked the pink safe while snookering behind the black.

Second attempt, Robertson was always highly likely to get the thin clip right.

          yep
always thought it particularly dangerous to put your opponent back in when the object ball can be hit directly as they now have the chance to put you in more trouble
          Up the TSF! :snooker:

Deserved win for Robertson. Superior safety game and better long potting meant there was only ever going to be one winner here. Allen is a superb player when he's on, but poor safety and no B game will always hold him back.

would have like to see Ding Play in this.... he likes these type of tournaments. Robertson is a great champ, well done to Perry, Wilson and Allen. good format... my subscription to World Snooker live internet did not dish out..... sad really....
I try hard, play hard and dont always succeed, at first.!!!!:snooker:

Agreed, especially now they have upped their tournments quota to 4 a year!

I think I read somewhere (Snooker Scene?) that ITV may expand their snooker coverage in the near future.
                  From 2016, they have:

                  World snooker shoot-out (February)
                  World Grand Prix (March)
                  Players Championship (March)
                  Champion of Champions (November)

Their main camera reminds me of the BBC's higher angle at the Crucible in the 90's,this seems a bit higher and none the worse for it. :-)
So, do you prefer ITV's camera angles?

Also, congrats on ITV - BBC seem to have given up on bidding for more tournaments!

McManus is very knowledgeable, but isn't confident in front of a TV camera.
