...O'Sullivan certainly had some luck at important times this afternoon. A fluke directly won him the second frame, and Williams was left with no shot after that great black when he had the chance to make it 5-3.

...although other than the fluked green in frame 2, he had horrendous luck, almost as bad as Maguire's luck against Trump.

It's great the way we all watch the same matches, yet see things so differently. I'm with Odrl on this one though, surprise surprise.

Hah, most definitely. It just seemed, every time Ronnie played a decent safety shot, a red would creep over to the corner pocket, think I counted 5 times it happening. Some will say its a poor shot, but more often than not, that won't happen when you play a red in to the pack.

It said JV and SH commentating, but Hendry said literally 0 words during that first frame, but chipped in 2 lines after the frame was over! But great clearance from Selby and 2nd frame also playing well. Looks in decent form.

Yep, I was amazed that ROS/Robbo were clear favourites for the Masters but it's the punters who make the odds and some are a bit naive. Ricky does that thing with his finger on his lips; he did that when Ronnie whitewhashed him in 62 minutes. Stop doing it Ricky and change the thoughts in you head when you do do it. You're not there to watch how good Selby is. He seems to get caught in the headlights so many times. But what can I say, double knee bend!

Yep, 7 world titles doesn't mean you'll be a good commentator. Davis is ok and has 6 titles. But Ebdon on his first assignment was better than both put together. Analysing and commenting are different skills, not the same as playing. Everton is my favourite and what did he do compared to the rest on the table? Hendry is really dreich, bordering on crabbit. West coasters will know what I mean, east coasters, S.Queensferry, Aberdeen, Dundee, they're hardly full of the joys of Spring, ken? Gimme me a Weegie or Westie any day, at least there'll be some banter.
