Manners!
Shall we put it down to maybe the players are just in a hardcore concentration mode or am I being too generous?

First couple of frames or so, I thought "This is a nicely poised match" Then I spent the rest of it watching ineptitude from both of them - so many silly misses, and Allen in particular unable to take his chances. No wonder Davis called him a Championship Player.

Amazing how inconsistent Allen is. I'm probably wrong but Allen strikes me as someone who has incredible talent but doesn't practice hard enough. He seems to moan and complain a lot. Hawkins on the other hand is clearly someone who worked incredibly hard at his game to get to where he is now. Much respect to bazza
It was a rotten match though truth be told. Pretty poor quality all round. We've had some high quality matches already though. Selby v Ronnie, Higgins v Liang and trump v maguire were pretty good

I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Both top players and that would be a top match to watch .

I did 20 mark with a m8 of mine on J Higgins. I hope he wins
