Gotta say I worry for Trump and his mental strength now. To play so well against Robertson yesterday and to completely fold again the next match is worrying. I know you can't play well every round but he talked in this tournament about how mentally he is feeling weak in matches and today proved he has demons that are obviously affecting his game.
4-3 up he had the upper hand and then he just started missing easy balls and playing poor safety shots. It reminded me a lot of the Wenbo match at the UK where he was playing well and lost. Don't want to take much away from Hawkins who played superb in the first couple of frames but Judd has once again thrown a match he should have seen through.

I remember Allen in the BBC interview after beating Murphy and his eyes looked clear so maybe they pick and choose when they wear them, again just speculating though.

I didn't realise just how much Trump cues across the line, he must have it square at the time of strike but it must take some timing to get it right. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Well done, Barry, but I can't pretend I'm not surprised by the result, or not disappointed either. Barry's just one of those players who does nothing for me, from a spectator point of view."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"
