  • A great match of snooker, six centuries between them, and a lovely total clearance under pressure from Trump in the decider. It's a shame they had to meet so early in the tournament, kind of like when Higgins and Robertson played in the QF of the UK Championship. It could have been a great final.

The UK and now the Masters have been really entertaining this season, much better than the mediocre stuff we saw last season.

That was a thrilling final frame wasn't it, deserving of the match as a whole Hell of a marker to put down for tonight. It would be great to follow that one with some nice long quality tactical frames and a post-midnight finish, but I wouldn't complain at more of the same.

Yeah I can't believe it fell in. Great match. Incredible to see 6 tons in 11 frames.

Well played both players. Class !! Time for bed. 3-40am
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
        I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Yep ,who wouldn't want more of that.
Trump was making all the right noises in his interview with the Beeb after the match, saying he's worked hard over Crimbo and is ready to stop the partying and get his head down and play snooker, I hope so because the boy can play of that there is no doubt.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

            • Just finished watching...what a match that was!!! Incredible standard and how well did Judd keep himself composed throughout. Exceptional stuff.

              • Just in, unreal standard of snooker. This is why I said Ronnie is at 75% because if he was 90%, he'd be knocking them in like this. Get in JUDDERNAUGHT!

The thunder from down under will be crying in his soy milk tonight. The draw looked tough on Judd's side but only the Hawk is in the way now, whereas Ronnie faces a tough opponent. Judd has to be slight favourite for me.

                Judd-Ronnie final again; still on!

I agree about Edberg and Judd needs to ditch his love of Primark. That's a starter. Forget the spaghetti western outfits, you ain't from Texas, yam a bai from Bristol.

                      ....and entirely subjective.

Exactly...and ROS wouldn't know class if it came up and jumped him

                        • This week I have spent most of my time watching snooker and getting drunk. The rest of it I have just wasted.

                          • as he says himself hes been droping in and out of form due to his concentration and overall atattude. look at him today, from the flare stuff in frame one to shaking on every shot in the last frame.
hes still finding his own recipe of play. i can see things clicking for judd in his 30s interms of being a solid winner

Meooooooow. What I do love about Ronnie is his refusal to change from enjoying the simple things in life. He don't drink, smoke, bang all the birds, gamble. He likes exercise, likes his kids and he's down to earth and likes a low profile off camera. What's not classy about that?

Yeah, he needs that mental edge. He needs some MMA in his system. Fight!
