In my book that's not right...at all.
You're the same as them, anyone but Ronnie. I've given credit to the Hawk, Judd, Robbo and Bingo in this Masters. I love Ronnie yeah, but the all the top 16 are class players.

        • Well if they won't, I will.

In order of difficulty (most difficult first):

          Hole in one
          147
          Nine-dart finish
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

I thought the same at first but then I changed it too 147 , 9 darter then hole in one as I'm by no means a great golfer but lipped out twice for a hole in one but have never came close to the other two as more skill is involved instead of luck !

I have much respect for Ronnie as a snooker player, not for his 'fans' (the obnoxious loud ones...I'm sure there are many sane Ronnie fans as well).

I enjoy this game very very much, and I enjoy a (good clean) battle on the table...that's what counts for me. Not just one player...always both.

(Btw in no way have I addressed my remarks about the ronnie fans to your personally...I am referring to the ones in the crowd)

Could be yes...if Stu wins this frame.

I'd agree with a hole in one if the players are shooting for it. But mostly, they looking to get close without having the accuracy to shoot for one, not even a par 3. There's no way of shooting for one with wind etc down the near the hole, it's not crediblem too many factors uncontrollable. But in darts, almost all factors can be taken into account, same in snooker.

Well, of course, that table assumes the hole in one is being attempted.

Looks like Ronnie's having to fight off a few demons at the moment.

the "Ronnie only fans" that go to event that are not in general not snooker fans are definitely a group that exist. I witnessed it at Welsh Open, especially early rounds and when Ronnie was playing their shouts and general disrespect to anyone else playing was palpable and affected the other 6 players on the other tables. When Ronnie won the match and had left the arena the ROF left with no regard to anyone else but a few took their time screaming and shouting "Ronnie" whatever
even when others asked them to be quiet, I saw one to and fro that nearly became physical!
a minority maybe but isn't it always that ruin it for everyone else.

His game isn't in brilliant shape. He's 75% (I know I said that before). He's got a back injury and can't get down to his usual address position apparently, so I just don't see him winning it even if the gets through. Hawk will have him. Judd must be kicking the pointy things off his shoes right now. These two wouldn't have coped too well with Trumpy. One side of the draw contained all the old uns and the young un that got through the other side of the draw was looking at a juicy final. Ronnie is a genius but even he can't fix injuries and lost form overnight. Then again, he did shoot a maxi with a broken foot. So you never know. lol

Oh please...will you stop hetching your bets. On the (outside) chance ronnie should lose here, you will blame it on his 'injuries' and lost form...really? Ronnie has no injuries, his bad back is a nonsensical story he fabricates as an excuse why he doesn't want to play the circuit. And he himself is the only one who decided not to participate in tournaments, like the rest of the snooker players do during the year. Which btw is a normal thing for a professional snooker player. He has only himself to blame if he is not 'in form'.

You don't know much about snooker. He's missed the last two tournaments due to this injury. Go and check. And he hasn't been able to play much as a result. His form isn't there, and that's why I will put a bet on the hawk if ronnie gets through, because hawk's odds will lengthen from 3/1.
