Think I'll have to take back my second comment ....

    • My dad is telling me about an outrageous fluke that (he thinks) Ryan Day was on the receiving end of in a recent match, and more to the point his reaction to it, which apparently amused everyone. Anyone know which match he's talking about, as he's trying to find it in his recordings so he can show it to me.
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Sure, I'm not against seeing new faces but Gould/Dott is not very appealing on paper. I think the final winner will be one of Wilson or Brecel.

                  • I like ES's post match analysis and punditry, but the host is terrible! He threatens far too many awkward silences.

To quote a comment on YouTube i seen recently, "that rug wouldn't be any more obvious if it had welcome written on it".

Yes, that interview with Ryan Day (thanks Dean) was a bit cringeworthy wasn't it, but then the blue was always going to be an uncomfortable conversation. :uncomfortableness:

Ryan's response to Bingham's fluke was priceless though.

                          • What a first frame. Two young guns shooting at virtually anything that moves, with varying degrees of success, some great pots and a few incredible misses. Great fun.

They're brilliant arent they, and boy do they love a good murmur. Just goes to show you don't need an arena full of boozed-up bell-ends to have a great atmosphere.

                            • I have to agree. I'm loving the love and enthusiasm our German friends have for this game.

Unfortunately I lost ES when I downgraded my Sky package recently, and have to keep catching up when I go and see my mum and dad.

I'll have to make-do with online, I suppose.
