Well that was a very enjoyable match. I know there have been hundreds of matches with three centuries in the past, but all three high breaks this afternoon were superb. An excellent display of breakbuilding from the two of them, and Robertson is a deserved winner. It's beginning to look like we might have an O'Sullivan-Robertson or a Selby-Robertson final this week, and it could be a special one.
But first of all, O'Sullivan-Selby coming up. Looking forward to it.

Its oddly predictable how people use a barely related future event to justify their arguments, when that event has no evidential weight, only anecdotal sentiment.
For instance, the day after the 146, Ronnie played masterful snooker against Tian and so pro Ronnie fans used this to validate the 146 as if he'd reached some sort of zen like state and that in turn proved their argument.
Now take a look at twitter after Dings 147, and the anti-Ronnie fans are doing the same thing - another man makes a 147 and suddenly it goes to prove Ronnie lacks class, as if previous 147s by other players hadn't already framed part of their argument.
Ding's 147 was, if you like, poetic irony or depending on your narrative, poetic justice. The attempt to use his achievement as validation is yet more internet-aged parroting mania, en masse.

Eurosport of course went awol...once again! They will be back in about 1h10m time, so hoping for the whole match from the start (but I'm afraid this may not be the case).

its pressure though - and to be fair willie didn't realise until about the brown.Originally Posted by Odrl View PostIt was, but I'm not sure what Selby was thinking. He had the pink available, so he could have easily made sure that he didn't need the last black. Or at the very least, he should have played for the pink off the last red, to be 7 ahead on the black. :smile:Highest Match Break 39 (November 10th 2015)
