  • When 2 players are both in such good form , it will be luck that decides the match so stick your house on Robertson because he has more form than Red Rum...!

    • And amazing run again for Neil, if he carries on being this lucky it will definitely be his day.

      • Good stuff so far. Robertson will be looking to lead after the first session now, but I expect O'Sullivan to come back strongly after the interval.

Hopefully although I would be getting very frustrated by the run of the ball at moment if I were him, if it gets much worse he might just throw the towel in. Just hope at worst it's a 5-3 session then at least there will be some interest tonight, 6-2 when it's first to 9 is pretty much game over.

          • Neil will never admit to the run though, all skill in his eyes....

            • Disappointing 5th frame for Robbo, he should have made much more of that good chance he had early on. You can't afford to spurn such chances against ROS, deadly.

All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

              • Indeed. Big chance missed there for Robbo. But enjoyable match so far.

                • Ronnie's safety play is rather poor so far. Meanwhile, Neil is doing his best Mark Selby impression.

Horrendous to watch, he's like Ebdon MK II today. Feel like I can go an have jog whenever Neil comes to the table and be back in time for the start of the next frame.

Not expecting anyone to be as quick as Ronnie but this is excruciating.

It's ridiculous at the moment, you feel it has to even out at some point but you do get days where the run goes for you all day and maybe that's what he needs today.

                        • There we go again, Neil misses a long pot and leaves nothing compared to Ronnie missing and sticking one over the pocket. Can't recall seeing such an amazing run of the ball.

two attempted pots and got away with it each time, ronnie goes for a pot and sticks it up!

                            • Ronnie fans clearly watching a different match to the rest of us! The reason Neil is winning is because he's dominating the match. His safety has been better, his long potting's been better and he's making the most of his chances. Nothing to do with run. I dare say Ronnie will get on a roll at some point and end up winning anyway but in the meantime how about giving the other guy some credit for a change?

                              • Robbo is a very deliberate slow player, over analysing every shot. Most of the frames have been scrappy with bouts of prolonged safety. I feel Ronnie is going to get very frustrated.
