  • @where's willie...agree completely. It's no use though, the blinders won't come off I'm afraid.

      • Very controlled performance from Neil so far but Ronnie's long game is not there atm, he's refusing pots he would've gobbled up earlier in the tournament, I don't expect that to continue.

        The fast and the furious,
        The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

I dare say Ronnie will get on a roll at some point and end up winning anyway but in the meantime how about giving the other guy some credit for a change?
How many frames has he won with one visit? That's what domination is, not missing balls and leaving nothing on and then capitalising on good run.

If he'd won a few frames at one visit or maybe knocked in even one century I'd give him more credit but unless I've truly been watching a different match I haven't seen him do any of that.

True. They're exactly the same whenever Mark Selby beats him too so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

            • A very efficient performance from Robertson. He's been very patient in the safety exchanges, and he's taken the chances when they've come. Obviously the last frame is a big one...

It's quite cute to see you guys sucking each other's dicks in public

                  • Robertson has Ronnie's number? 6-1 at the Masters, 5-2 here....

                    • Ronnie is not at his best. Clearly a bit rattled, and long game not there yet, with some ropey position and the odd missed pot thrown in. Exactly the sort of day where he often gets beaten by a top player. Far from over yet, but the boring Australian might well have paid for my drinks by tonight.

                      Cheers Neil!

                      • I think ronnie needs to go all out attack tonight and not get bogged down in safety like he does against Selby!

No need for ad hominem attacks, just calling what I'm seeing. Rather rude.

Ronnie very lucky to escape 5-3 from that session, probably the worst he's played all week.

                            • An entertaining session of snooker. A 5-3 lead is not really a big one in a major final, although this is only a best-of-17, which will work in Robertson's favour. I expect more of the same from Robertson tonight, but O'Sullivan will obviously need to raise his game to have a chance of a comeback. He didn't really find any form this afternoon. Still plenty of time though...

Also, thanks to both players for finishing the session just before I have to leave, so I didn't miss anything.

                              • So...a very well deserved lead for Robbo. Might easily have been 6-2 or even 7-1.

ROS not at the races at all. He really can't complain and better get his act together in the 2nd session, otherwise Robbo will lift the trophy easily.

                                Cmon Robbo!
