Oh yeah like you would tell your mates...I was there when ROS made a 146! They will say...'so what, what's so special about a 146...you must be confused with a 147 which is a Maximum break in snooker...btw how long have you been a snooker fan?'

      nope he said this:

O'Sullivan: "I could've got on the black and made the 147. To make a maxi is a massive achievement, but there's only £10,000 for it."

Well its got everyone going and talking about it - look at all the people browsing this thread.

Love him or hate him... he generates interest.

Unlucky to Selby by the way for his max attempt.

btw ronnie produced some fantastic breaks the last few months. the steals vs selby and bingo were sublime. it hasnt has to be a max to be remembered daffie. the 92 break in the 2012 WSC final. Do you remember? its the way how he does these breaks. no one does it quite like him.

I won £8million on the lottery last week, but I refused it. The prize just wasn't big enough.

Isn't this the same guy that was crying about being "skint" a few years ago and needing money for school fees, yet passes up 10k. What a bellend.

I was actually defending Ronnie a bit, when he made the 146. They are a lot rarer than 147s. In a way, seeing a 146 is a bit of an "I was there" moment. (Though, this coming from somebody who has seen several 147s live.)

When he came out and made the "£10,000 isn't enough" comment, I found it harder to defend. There's a lot of people who work ******* hard in this country, and struggle to make ends meet. And Ronnie acts like £10k for a few minutes work is pittance.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. What a tool!

A 147 is special, so special that it deserves more than 10k.

Although not special enough to bother trying to do it unless it's a life changing payment, obviously.

It's the idiot inconsistency that annoys me about the self-absorbed genius.

I never saw it, but if he deliberately turned down a 147 he's a dick, he's not bothered about snooker and he's not bothered about the folk who have paid money to watch him, he's only bothered about himself, If the money's not enough or not important , do the 147 and give it to charity , and I'm a fan of Ronnies.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
