OK, he's got one back, but he's sitting in his chair pulling faces like he's already lost the match. C'mon Stu, be positive man!

A 72 clearance from 71-0 down, and not an easy table either. Nice win for Hamilton.

Great dish that was, i don't know the stats but this has gotta be one of the worst seasons by a reigning world champion ever!
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

Hamilton has always been a nice cueist but confidence and guts to pass the winning post has been his nemesis, that I think is what Griffiths has been working on

Highlights of the day - 146 from Ronnie and the 72 clearance from Hamilton. Rest of the matches were like the early stages of a PTC. Hope Hearn doesn't always stick with this Quantity > Quality ethos forever.

Good win for AH, pinched the last by 1 point. Stu looked like a beaten man pretty much from the outset IMO.

Wow...at last get to see Anthony Hamilton on TV . What a clearance , brilliant break .

Hopefully that will give him the boost that he needs to produce results like that more often .

Stuart looks like he is going through the motions .....doesn't look like the Bingham of previous seasons , doesn't look hungry enough . I suppose it must be hard now that he has achieved his ultimate dream of being World Champion . It's as if he hasn't got a target to spur himself on .
Hope he gets some form back soon and plays like he did last year .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Good win for Allan Taylor against Oliver Lines . Nice guy Allan and can play to , saw him in a Pro Am last year and he got to the final eventually losing to Marco Fu .
Anthony Hamilton for him next .

There's lots of talk of Ronnie's antics giving snooker a bad name, but if anything does that it's tournaments like this; empty seats everywhere, players looking like they'd rather be somewhere else, and commentators who sound bored rigid.

At the risk of offending, I've never been convinced of snooker's popularity in Wales.

What are the odds Ronnie will make a 147 today?
