  • That was a thoroughly enjoyable match tonight. Tomorrow will be great. Will Ronnie steam roll Selby or will Selby tie Ronnie him up in knots. Who knows! It will be fun finding out

Judd missing the black off the spot and left it tucked on the red
it let Joe in to get the break to leave Judd needing snookers
that is the one I saw
and jokingly copied the same wording from before

      • Nice match tonight, if a little too short.

Why are we not allowed to enjoy the Ding-Brecel match now? I certainly can't think of any satisfactory reason. One static camera pointing at the table would do. :frown:

This multi-table format is all well and good, but if they're not going to put the cameras in there tv viewers miss 80% of the matches!
I think the budget is reduced this year so fewer camera operators
I would hope that they would be moved over to table 2 and we may get highlights later
but as you say not a good state of affairs

            yep totally agree
static camera no operator should be easy to manage
why not static cameras on all four tables

              • A bit of history made in Cardiff tonight, Ding has just had a total clearance of 151, the highest break ever recorded in professional snooker.

                  any details?
                  freeball and what balls?
that should get the highest break prize so if ROS gets his 147 he wont get that money

                    And not televised.

Also. Jamie Burnett will be pissed.

                    • Okay, I made it up, but it could have happened!

Sorry, I had the evening reserved for watching snooker, and now I'm just sitting here with nothing to do.

                          if it was true
then again the camera operators were on a coffee break

                          • It will be true one day, so let's get more matches televised!

It looks like Ding has prevailed now though, and he seemed to score quite well throughout the match, although we still have to wait a while to see the break stats. Should finally get on TV when he plays Robertson tomorrow. Hendon said earlier that three of the four matches will be televised, so I imagine Perry and Woollaston will miss out.
