Weird tournament so far. All pre-tournament favorites except Shaun Murphy are out. You could include Ding as well, but he hasn't performed like a tournament favorite recently.

Agree about foulds, McManus is excellent, too (or should i say 'oh, brilliant' instead).

Cannot for the life of me see why people around these parts like Everton though. His tone annoys me and he's always talking about something inconsequential at pivotal times.

Can Peter Ebdon play snooker?

I know that might seem like an odd question to ask of a player who's achieved what he has, but his performance against Ding today was woeful. In my opinion there's question marks over virtually everything he does at the table; his technique, shot selection... even his attitude in an odd sense - never lacking desire, but so intense and prone to over-thinking everything he does, that any natural ability he may have is always suffocated.

He's a player that's won more than he should have based on his ability, but what he does have is great tenacity and good temperament. If you compare him to someone Like MaGuire who has much more nature ability, but a poor temperament then, your comment makes some sense.

Anyone else think Neal Foulds comes across really awkward co hosting on ITV 4? He is terrible commentating on matches and stating the bloody obvious all the time but presenting he is even worse.
