Today's Robertson & O'Sullivan losses prove that 'best-of-7' format is a horrible format for top players. It gives opportunities for low-class players.
I don't like best of 7's either, but it was plain to see that Robbo did not deserve to get through after the performance he put in and Ronnie was outplayed by Holt.
Just call it like it is rather than blame the format.

I agree completely, Ive alway said the best of 7 format is any mans game. The better player always comes out on top in the longer matches but every credit to Holt, played some really good stuff.

I agree. The number of frames shouldn't matter. The heavyweights of this game should be able to handle any format.
