      • Very well played by Walden there, I hope he can keep it up for the final.
Wonder why they call Manchester "The Rainy City"?

        • I think the players struggle when the conditions are not as spot on as they could be. I mean it's Manchester, it's cold and wet and the tables are a little slower, so with the phenolic resin balls there are a lot of bad contacts, not outright kicks, but bad contacts.
For these balls to work you need perfect conditions, the players know this, expect it to happen, and are very wary.
          Generous pockets though

                Ha, ha ha!

No, I'm not, but I really don't like the players who hang around the table after they've missed a pot or played a safety. They hang around after the balls have stopped moving, looking to see what they've left, checking if they've left a good snooker... and then, when their opponent finishes his go, they are up at the table while the balls are still rolling trying to "push" the other guy out of the way.

I consider these three as that type of player, and for that reason I don't like them:

                Barry Hawkins
                Martin Gould
                Ali Carter

It's time the referees had a word with these table-hoggers.

("Sorry" to the fans of the above.)

You are a goose Byrom, a goose. And you forgot to say "is". That makes you sound like a Goose, a goose.

                  Goose

                  Quack

                  Isn't this an interesting post.

I do not think Byrom is a Goose. I'm fairly sure he is a human being...

But it would be great if he was a Goose.

                            • What do snooker crowds find so amusing about flys/moths? That's what I should like to know. If there's one hovering about the table and the player takes a swipe at it, they fall about laughing!
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"
