Marco Fu is playing really great stuff right now, almost three centuries in the row and about 350 points with out reply. I would expect him to dominate the match from now on and to finish it comfortably, something like 10-3 or 10-4.
The second match is not as fluent as I expected, but it seems to me that Stuart is definitely feeling a lot of pressure, I think this will be close match, but fancy Ali to win it just a little more.

It has not been a month or two since and the shots that once went in are tending to bobble and stay out
Geoff Large has often said that "in clubs" the cushion-cloth would be a step or two down the scale from the bed-cloth to resist the direct impacts; now in pro matches, is this concept the same or do they have the same top notch cloth on the cushions as the bed?Up the TSF! :snooker:

So anyway ... quarter final stage and over half of the people taking part in this poll are wrong. Wonder how many die hard only Ronnie fans have switched off the snooker?
Hope a few stay tuned in to watch more of it and appreciate it for what it is. More than one way to play the game and I think that fact makes it more interesting

That includes myself, as I voted for O'Sullivan.

So either Ding- Selby or Ding-Fu (less spectators in UK perhaps) remains my dream final 2016.

I think the "greater applause" was for the "underdog coming back" "battling hard to keep in the match£ and not because he "was not" Asian.
And what a last session
Was in the pub last night watching it on the laptop with a couple of friends; one of the guys playing poker kept coming over and watching and we were doing hand signals to him as the frames progressed :biggrin:Up the TSF! :snooker:

My heart wants a McManus win, but my head goes Selby ( and he seems to be doing it the way I thought he would ).
These comments will, of course be the kiss of death to both their chances and it'll now be a Ding - Fu final . . .
