Personally I hope not. I want Fu to win it!

I wonder if Fu did feel that foul? I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean it was a normal safety shot, the foul would have only cost him 4 points and possibly being forced to play the (easy) roll into the bunch. There is no reason for him not to declare it if he was aware of it surely?

As soon as I saw his finger move slightly towards the red, I was thinking he's going to foul this, and he did. I noticed it in real time straight away.
I was surprised Brendan Moore didn't see it, usually when a player is leaning over a ball or bridging over one they are like Hawks crouching down looking to see if a foul is being comitted . But here he was on the wrong side so he couldn't see it.
I don't want to say that FU cheated and will give him the benefit of the doubt , however it's pretty hard not to feel if u touch a ball with your finger.

I'm sorry, but that elderly grey-haired lady in the front row really gets on my nerves. She always has a really sour expression and is NEVER awake. She comes to the WC every bloody year... Why, when all she does is sleep??
As for the foul, wasn't it Mark Allen who when asked about players declaring fouls on themselves, said something like, "Most of us are really honest when it comes to calling fouls on ourselves... I could name a couple who aren't, but (bla bla bla)"Last edited by Billy; 30 April 2016, 07:33 PM."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Lovely frame between Selby and Fu to finish their session. I thought I would have plenty of time for my 30-minute walk home after the frame finished, but it turned out it was already time for the next session to start when they were still playing, incredible. Nice result though, it should be an interesting evening session. I'm still sticking with my original prediction, but it does seem like Fu could take control of the match if he starts strongly.
Very well played to Ding Junhui. I called a new centuries record after the first session, but he only managed to equal it, shame on him! It's amazing that McManus held on for so long though, every credit to him. This semi-final will live in the memory for a long time as one of the best, even if it did not go all that close in the end.
Oh, and before I forget... I must object to Philip Studd's use of the phrase "a great escape Steve McQueen would have been proud of". I've heard him say that a few times now, but surely McQueen's character got caught in the end, didn't he? The phrase should be "a great escape Charles Bronson or James Coburn would have been proud of".:snooker:
"You're not standing in my line of sight, but you are standing in my line of thought".

Fu has called fouls on himself before, so why would he suddenly not call it in a situation where there was no huge disadvantage to doing so?
