The amount of phones going off has been unusually high this tournament, especially in the semis/final. Ref seem to be calling on it every couple of frames. They should turn it off, but I get that people might like to tweet or look up game stats while they're watching. However it's really not hard to put your phone on complete silence, i.e. no vibrate.

Indeed it is.

I have at times even suspected people of deliberately leaving their phone on, for their mate to be able to phone/text them at a crucial point in a frame...to deliberately throw their opponent off. I'm pretty sure this has happened.

Not so far in this match though.

That 147 graphic is ridiculous. It comes up every time the first red and black are potted. I assume if the BBC put it up enough times they'll get it correct once and then they'll get people raving over the prediction.
