What?! Holy crap...what have they been up to in the last frame I wonder...can't wait to find out
Edit...3 more it was, BBC now on 5-2 and showing frame nr 8.
Btw heard Ebdon made it to 2:15 AM (!) in his 2nd qualifier against Green (10-9)...that must have been some match

Have been looking forward to these next couple of matches. Shaun vs Anthony...hoping for the same quality as last year. He was simply fantastic to watch...a lovely character.
And the all Scottish clash...how great it is to see McManus back at The Crucible!
I'm starting to get that Crucible Vibe:snooker:

I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Disappointing from the BBC . I know I say this every tourney ...but I would love the option of different camera angles via the red button .
I actually don't like watching snooker from the traditional camera view . I much prefer to watch matches from the side of the table .
I used to race RC cars (it's better than it sounds ) . And at the larger events that are streamed online . You can choose to watch the practice , pits , or any one of the different camera views around the track .
All the racers are interviewed throug out the weekend etc and videos posted online instantly etc .
Obviously that's because it's internet based and not through a tv channel but the coverage was excellent

Yes the BBC go off air to show gardening and its not even carried on on the RB. No wonder they lost the Open golf to Sky.
Day one and already heard numerous commentators on both BBC and Eurosport talking about big cushion bounces. What is it with these tables??

Rather bizarrely they're now 're-playng' the McGill Murphy match on the RB, which begs the question why couldn't they have just stayed with it live?

Time to fek the beeb off for sure.
No one covers the big tournies as well as the beeb. The two go hand in hand, and while their devotion seems to be weakening, I'd hate to see the biggies go anywhere else.
I can't imagine any other channel / network devoting anything even approaching as much time to the WC.
Now I appreciate that comment makes me look rather hypocritical, but you're not going to see this much snooker if it goes elsewhere.Last edited by Billy; 16 April 2016, 05:27 PM."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Very enjoyable session Murphy & McGill, both missed chances but it was still entertaining with some lovely breaks. 5 - 4 to Murphy is about right I'd say. What's been going on on the other table? I was a bit surprised to see McManus 5 - 3 in front when I switched over. Luckily I didn't miss Maguire's attempt to combine snooker with javelin throwing. :snooker:
