It was George Riley from BBC Radio Five Live he does the snooker commentary and reports for them as well, Neal Foulds is doing commentary on Eurosport and also discussing matches with Jimmy White in the studio. alongside Colin Murray as the main presents The BDO Darts Championships Along side Bobby George. be great for the BBC to get Neal Foulds on the team and also bring Clive Everton the Voice of Snooker back as well, I wonder if Alan McManus will do commentary for Eurosport if he gets knocked out as well, he to is not bad and knows the game like Neal Foulds.

And that's exactly the sort of situation where someone like a sports psychologist can teach strategies for dealing with it, as Dr Peters has done for Ronnie with his self-destructive side.

It may not help, but it's a strong possibility, so why not give it a go?

        • Good first session for Selby, he looks in pretty good nick all things considered.

Both matches look like going close tonight, didn't see much of either first session so not sure which one to go with, probably Walden v Williams with a bit of channel (or should I say stream) hopping thrown in. Should be good fun.

          • Think that's the most accomplished Mark Williams I've seen Mark Williams for quite a while. I know he played well at the Masters and was probably unfortunate to lose to O'Sullivan but I think most expected it to be a lot closer than 10-4 (and some like me thought Dott would win)

did I hear Diminic Dale commentating on one of the Eurosport matches earlier?

                Dominic's sister?

Btw I like Dom's commentary...they should use him more often (should he be so inclined of course).

                  • Just watching the end of the Gilbert O'Sullivan match. What a great singer.

Anyhow. Just amazing to see Ronnie in full flow. Killing off frames in no time at all. I feel sorry for Gilbert. He's playing brilliantly but he's also playing the the best snooker player to ever pick up a cue. It's depressing how easy he makes it look.

                        George Riley is TERRIBLE.

I think Hendry is great and Ebdon has the potential to be great, but who the hell at BBC decided that it was a good idea to put this guy on the air?

Yes and I read somewhere that Dott had a 90% pot success overall in the match, and was superior to Williams's long pot success too. I didn't see much of either session but got the impression that Williams must have been on very good form.

I agree..and it's bad enough having to suffer watching Walden and Williams playing like a couple of rookies.

Dotts problem has always been breakbuilding and it was once again. You canĀ“t really call a man with 183 centuries a bad breakbuilder, but he often needs two or three visits to get over the line.
