Why is the referee calling him Anda when his surname is Zhang? When Ding (surname) plays he's called Ding. They had it all wrong during the qualifiers and now it's continuing.

Particularly Zhang Anda seems to have caused a bit of a problem in this regard for several years, unlike any other Chinese player. His name was (incorrectly) displayed as Anda Zhang on the scoreboard throughout his match against Hendry in 2010, and maybe it still is. Has anyone caught sight of the arena scoreboard during tonight's coverage?

It's a shame, this used to be the first website to visit, to read through posts during a match when I hadn't had chance to see much of it.

And today, just 18 posts during the evening session, the first one 90 minutes in, and most of it being off-topic stuff. We used to be able to almost relive a match by referring to these threads :-(

Recent events have pushed a lot of members away, but the last couple of weeks have seen a steady increase in healthy debate and a few old faces returning to the fold so hopefully it will pick up again soon?

Well played Holt. Widely expected a Robertson recovery when it went 3-3 and from 6-3. Will be interesting to see how he does against Williams.

And by a strange quirk both of Holt's Crucible wins have come against the number four seed.

I don't know, I think the so called underdogs have produced the better snooker so far, nice to see how players handle a dip in form when they can't finish frames in 1 visit, and how the lesser ranked players can capitalise on mistakes.
