    • Just watched the end of the match. Nice one Kyren. What a great result.

Sorry for Perry. I'm a fan.

      • Another midnight finish at the Crucible, great stuff. Wilson potted some great balls under pressure tonight. It looks like he is here to stay as a top player now. He beat Allen 6-1 in the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters this season, so there is no reason not to go into his next match with confidence.

I watched a bit of the other match as well, not surprisingly Carter is just slightly ahead. He was lucky tonight though, he missed a red along the side cushion that would have surely given McManus a 4-3 lead, but the corner bucket accepted it.

        • What an ending between Kyren n Perry.
Joe was a bit too twitchy, even in his chair with his eye exercises, nail biting and lip playing.

          • Superb entertainment tonight and the Perry v Wilson match. The 19th frame was just nuts!

It is much more likely that they will cover the Fu/McGill match which will be in its second session and therefore closer to a conclusion.

I've seen you mention a midnight finish a couple of times recently. ... Are you accounting for time difference here because on atleast two occasions I've seen you say this and on both times I've thought eh, midnight finish?

Doesn't count unless you're working with UK time im afriad...

I hope it's on the BBC, as that Phil Yates guy on Eurosport is unbearable at time with his worthless statements :livid:

Mmm, you could be right, unfortunately.

The new guy from Radio 5 that the beeb have used a couple of times this week reminds me of Phil Yates.

                        • Ooh, that was serious twitchy-bum time with Trump 7-3 down against Wenbo. My £100 bet for Trump to win the title is still on (just)

Only man who can stop him is an in-form John Higgins who will have to play his A-game and/or Ronnie in the final
Favourite players: Kirk Stevens, Stephen Hendry, John Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ding Junhui

                          • Did nobody else think Kyren conducted himself really poorly in the last 2 frames? Clearly swearing under his breath shaking his head constantly if Joe got any luck. I think he should have shown more class personally. They both got a fair bit of luck in the 17th frame safety exchange. Joe always the gentleman though and didn't rise to it. The wrong result in the end for me.

                            • He's still learning and yes, it was noticeable.

And you forgot the grinder Selby. What odds did you get on Trump to win the worlds?
