I agree. Personally I don't like players swearing or showing negative emotions around the table, which would affect the game and the opponent to some extent. I do appreciate some mild jokes coming along occasionally, especially in such a serious big tournie. Yes, feel gutted for the gentleman Perry, not funny losing an important close match under such atomasphere.

Can't way to get home and watch MJW against Michael Holt tonight, I hate being in the world. I expect high quality match, I am rooting for Mark, but I like Michael a lot also, so hope for a good good match.

Hmm, 25 minutes ago, could have been when someone in the audience sneezed as MJW was on his backswing.

Good half session for Holt, could have easily been 4 - 0. Mind you, it's more like a game of football out there atm with all the kicking that's going on.

I had to laugh at Joe's reaction to his (did he play it?) fluke snooker on the blue. The audience were oooh-ing and laughing as Kyren came to the table shaking his head, and all the time Joe's sat in his seat, raising his eyebrows in puzzlement, as if to say, "What? I played that."

Yes,bit strange the commentary from Hendry there,I'm pretty sure it was deliberate as he wouldn't have left an awkward safety shot on the pink otherwise.

John Parrott doesn't half talk doesn't he? Constant chatter. I met him once through work and didn't really like him, found him a bit tetchy and aloof.

Hendry called him out on it, though I didn't hear it myself. But he was not impressed, calmly observing that lucky evens itself it out over long matches.

Did nobody else think Kyren conducted himself really poorly in the last 2 frames? Clearly swearing under his breath shaking his head constantly if Joe got any luck. I think he should have shown more class personally. They both got a fair bit of luck in the 17th frame safety exchange. Joe always the gentleman though and didn't rise to it. The wrong result in the end for me.

What is MJW's problem with the ref? He seems very annoyed...throwing away the black towel a couple of times. All rather over the top imo. And he just had some words with the ref as well. Weird as normally Mark is so laid back.
