I have listened to pros moan about big bounces and never really saw much in it, untill this tourney, I saw Alan McManus get a huge bounce off a yellow to green off the side Cush , and that one is just unbelievable you can see the ball accelerate again as it comes off the Cush. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

What irritates me about the big bounces are the commentators' theories as to what causes them. Davis particularly. Just watching the highlights of the McManus match, and Davis casually says after a huge bounce off the black cushion, "It must be some chalk on the cueball..."
What in the name of all that is holy does that mean, Steve!!?? How the hell does chalk on the cueball cause it to spring off the cushion in such a manner??Last edited by Billy; 23 April 2016, 01:35 AM."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

But did you know that the BBC created their own Virgo sound-board years ago?
It's true; Thorne sits alone in the box fiddling with the Virgo board while thinking about what to say next.
In fact, Virgo uttered the phrase "WHERE'S THE CUEBALL GOING?" only once, about twelve years ago.Last edited by wemba; 23 April 2016, 03:14 AM.
