It's doing my head in, literally every shot they are blaming kicks, even when they miss thin by about 6 inches. Weird that the actual successful players like Ronnie don't blame kicks and Hendry thinks they are caused by poor cueing.

Exactly. It's getting silly. WT and PE have convinced themselves and decided beyond all doubt that there's something terribly wrong with this table, so every single miss is being excused by them.

I've been watching snooker religiously since about 1983, and not once have I felt compelled to mute the sound, but with Davis and Ebdon I've come very close on a few occasions.

I like WT as a commentator but Ebdon is just talking non stop. The problem is if you mute the sound you lose the sound of the balls being struck and also the atmosphere in the venue. I can't believe the BBC haven't done something about Ebdon here, he really does have verbal diarrhoea. How come these guys don't seem to realise not every shot requires commentary. Terry is quite good at just being silent at times when not much is happening, they could learn a thing or two from him.
