yep no centuries for our fav Irish player in the final, made 6 in the whole tournament
and the 7 by Hendry in that match is the current record for 100s by a single player in a match.
the most 100s in a match by both players is 8 and has been done 5 times and ALL in the WSC!

Can't believe neither KD or WT understand why it's easier to pot a red that's tight against a cushion, than one that's just off. The reason is, the player knows (or should know) that all he has to do is make sure the cushion and ball are struck simultaneously.

It's one of the first tips you learn for cushion shots!

However incredibly impressive this display from Ding is, I would dearly like to see a match instead of an exhibition.

So c'mon Alan get in there and make it difficult for Ding, keep things tight...get that cue ball on the balk cushion. We all know how good your angles are mate...

Ding is playing to a very high standard especially his break building. He needs to take more care on safety play. If he gets to the final either Fu or Selby can do damage on break building front. I just hope that Ding hasn't peaked too soon.

It's a valid point, there is always a chance that Ding has blown his beans too early, but as the tournament reaches a climax, i'm sure Ding can rise to the occasion and thrust through to another level of ecstacy
