Yes, if he was snookered by the pocket.

so no snooker so no freeball option after a foul
of course you can always ask your opponent to play again

Very lucky from Selby with that red fluke. Has the chance to pot black and can try to get a snooker on yellow, which he has to free from the cushion anyways.
