          • Lovely break from Ding just at the right time. If he gets at least 2-2 after the interval we have a great prospect tonight.

It's funny, it feels like Selby is in control of this match and Ding is always trying to catch up, but this was 6-0 at one point, so Ding is actually winning the match 10-5 since. If this continues Selby could be in trouble, so I hope he still has enough energy for one final push.

            • Anyone's match

Ding winning will be so much better for the game, but hey that doesn't matter, he needs to do the job on the table

              • Lovely piece that was about the guy from Washington who wrote the original snooker theme.

And he played all the instruments as well...

                • The big lead put pressure on the selbonians... and released some pressure on the dingles. Ronnie was up 10-7 overnight in 2014 so would be ironic if the Selbonians lost from here.

Indeed and kind of ironic that a Yank who new nothing about the game ended up composing the most famous piece of music is snooker's history.

Yes but all the more lovely because of that. His reaction to snooker was so nice...never heard of it beforehand but afterwards it has earned a special place in his heart (and his wallet )

What's so good news about it though when they can't be bothered with it half the time. Like tonight... end of the WC peeves me off every year with the last ball being potted a quick chat and off air as quick as possible. No WC re cap show or anything..

I'd like to see a little more to it all tbh....

I see people say this all the time, but what would you actually have them do once the match has finished?
