Can somebody explain how Selby gets away with the banging of table and swiping of cue in the air when he gets a bad roll. You don't see that carry on from Ding. In fairness, if anything Selby has had the slightly better run of the balls.
Looks like 14-11 now. I would be (very pleasantly) surprised if Ding can overcome this deficit to win the final later on. He has been playing catch-up all day and Selby keeps pulling away.
Selby proving very difficult to beat. I can't see Ding doing this. Even if he came back, Ding would tighten up if got close. Still think Ding showing a bit more class like that concede just then, no histrionics or smacking the table or swiping his cue. Deserves a lot of credit as he just looks like such a nice guy.
I think Ding was a little unlucky in that session.Cant see him pulling it back now so my £5 on him at the beginning of the tournament at 18/1 looks like being a loser.I think the mrs was looking at a new top too.

I've always thought that Chinese players tend to lack bottle, and although ding has come so far I just can't see him seeing this through unfortunately - as much as I'd like to see!
