Escaping from snookers isn't exactly Ding's strong point atm is it. Not good when you're playing one of the toughest tacticians ever.
I wonder how many penalty points he's given away in this match compared to Mark?

I see people say this all the time, but what would you actually have them do once the match has finished?

I don't know.. (Maybe not after the last ball is potted) But a WC re cap show with players talking about their time in Sheffield, how they prepped, a few select pieces from matches to talk through with players. Players opinions on things in the game etc etc...

It just never has felt right to me that that's that after the last ball. Nothing else said about it, it's not as if snooker champs get an invite on TV shows these days is it. I'd just like a little more insight into the goings on than we have for the past 39 years I guess, nothing has evolved whatsoever in this aspect of the game, it would be nice to add a little more. Don't you think?

Oh this final is just about all over. Congrats to both players...Selby well deserved winner. Sad to see Ding's tremendous fightback wasn't to be.

Really can't see a comeback from Ding and overtaking Selby..it hasn't happened during the 3 previous sessions, so he needs to play to an outerwordly standard now to have a chance.

Probably not. But he can only beat what's in front of him. I don't think a lot of the bigger names showed up. Let's take Trump as an example. How many world titles might he win with the mental toughness and match play of Selby?

Let's be honest though, Hendry or even a John Higgins at the top of his game would win this final comfortably. I just don't think Ding quite has the mental toughness to win this one, much as I would love him too. I think if he got close he might be a nervous wreck.
