Run of the balls again, but it was in Dings hands. Over this length and format, Ding was never going to win, Selby hasn't even played that well in this championship, but he is such a tough competitor and so good at getting under other players skins that he has sort of won it by default. It's pretty awful snooker to watch, but you have to grin and bare it and say he deserves to win really.

I was so delighted when Ding reached the final, but almost immediately (being the pessimist I am) I just sensed he wouldn't convert it into a title win. I fear my prediction will now play out.
I'm so disappointed I can't even bring myself to congratulate Selby or admit he's played the better snooker. Right now he's just the enemy who's robbed Ding and the Chinese nation of the title they so badly want. Call me dramatic, but I don't think I can ever forgive Selby for this.
