  • Un_nooh makes 147 at Paul Hunter classic

Did anyone see Un-Nooh make his first 147 tonight? Very happy for him as he missed 2 blacks last year so he deserves it and the 40k to go with it

You can watch it here also if you didnt already see it http://www.snookercentral.com/watch-...unter-classic/

What's his current ranking? He's 31 so now's the time to kick on I reckon. Maybe this will give him some momentum.

            Currently #33.

Anyone know who the referee was for this match?

“I feel as if I’m flying,” said Un-Nooh. “The two blacks I missed last year were still in my head. If I had known this one was for £40,000, maybe I would have missed again. I was relieved that the black was easy. There was a lot of pressure because I have never made a 147 in a pro tournament before.”

Most exciting player on the circuit right now, makes Trump look like a show off kid.

Yeah but does Un-nooh have videos of himself on a milk crate performing like a chimp aged 8? And his shoes aren't exactly a grand a pair either. And he doesn't do daft things to his hair, have a model GF or drive silly cars. He needs to be less of a snooker player and then he can join Ron at Legends and be a potential world champ. :biggrin-new:

A great and welldeserved break, and fast as well. A little more than 8 minutes.

Has he got time to qualify for the Masters? Assuming Barry doesn't reintroduce the wildcards again..

I've never followed how the rankings work, but if we're on the money system now, is it impossible for him to hit the top 16 before January?

Probably not realistic, but not impossible either. The winners of the International and the UK Championship get very good prize money, so they are virtually guaranteed to get into the top16 as a result of their win. Unless they were too far down to begin with, but that's not the case here...

Yeah, I had a look, and he needs about £100,000, and of course relies on 17 or 18 people above him not progressing at the same time. Shame, he's a lovely player.

Very happy for him, he's a nice lad, blessed with tremendous natural talent. Particularly like his relax style and smooth cue action. His reaction at learning he won 40 grands was priceless
