Maximus really making their mark now in the game. 5 of the top 32 using their cues, not bad going.
Trump definitely ditched the green veneer cue, it was terrible, way too stiff and lifeless. Didn't win a match with it, to be fair these hobbyist cue makers that start out and get popular, they may make a nice looking cue with great precision when it comes to splices but until they actually have years of selecting shafts and knowing how they play they will never be a match for the experienced cue makers.[bold] could say this of Maximus
I thought the Maximus was a previous cue for Maguire? Do you have a link to their facepage with Maguire please
Who are the five? I currently have two.
A lot of players are trying out new cue makes recentlyUp the TSF! :snooker:

A friend plays with the flat to the outside as he plays, as you say, nowt wrong with it of course.
Just personal preference, along with 99% of all aspects of snooker (cue sports), personal preference, what you have gotten used to, nothing in snooker is absolutely right or wrong for ALL; whether it be which ball you focus on at time of strike or you have flat up. down, or to the side. :biggrin:Up the TSF! :snooker:
