Anyway, great stuff from Selby in the second session, he scored very well once he got the chances. But, like Ding, he wasn't really tested in this match, so it will be really interesting to see how it goes tomorrow when the two best players this week finally meet each other.

Fantastic performance from Selby in the semifinals. The best he has played all season.
If he is able to repeat this in tomorrows final he will prevail, but Ding will definitely be a harder opponent than Bingham was today. It's already the third final between Ding and Selby in 2016 and both so far were contested at a high level. Selby won the first and of course more important one at the World Championship, while Ding won at the Shanghai Masters a few weeks ago.
For tomorrow I think Selby will win narrowly, 10-9 or 10-8.

I know, and neither of them use a Parris cue! What will John say is this carries on? lol

2nd week: Champion of Champions in Coventry
3rd week : Northen Ireland Open in Belfast
4th week : Start of the UK in York...

This is a gruelling schedule which will undoubtly lead to major surprises in York. Guaranted to see top seeds getting ousted with accumulated fatigue...
          Fatigue?
They are still playing in Hong Kong.

Not much to add to that really...

The head-to-head between them is very close, and they have each beaten the other in several big matches over the years. I guess it's Selby's turn to win now after the lost in Shanghai, but it could go either way really. It's quite a scary sight if you look at the match stats from Selby-Bingham and see all those breaks by Selby after going 2-0 down. Having watched the match though, Bingham did get his chances and certainly could have made the score a lot closer. The same goes for Trump against Ding.

I think we will see some fireworks tomorrow, with a few momentum shifts throughout the match. Ding can be a slow starter sometimes, but once he gets involved in a close match over multiple sessions, he usually wins. His record in major finals is quite impressive, while Selby's is actually a little underwhelming. That said, Selby was on a long winning streak before losing in Shanghai. As always, I am hoping for a 10-9 either way, but my gut feeling is that Ding will win, 10-8.

Is Ding finally becoming the player and man we all wished for many a moon ago?

Not seen any live action this week but enjoyed reading.

Sounds like a great game from Ding yesterday, he is back in the form when he won 5 on a season if not better imo.

I do believe the drop out the top 16, having to qualify and then get within a sniff of winning the WC has turned his game/mind set around.

I for one will be so pleased if he ever does lift that trophy and would love to be at that final.

Today's game could be a cracker, would love a good Ding start, classic Selby come back for the middle and then a final frame decider.

Might have to buy europlayer app....

                  Enjoy the match.

Not long now till silly snooket season back in the uk, with the UK, the Maters and more now.

World snooker never makes finding the times easy as they always show local venues times...

On the f1 page and app you can click to change between local and venue time.

                    Sort it out folks.

Anyway it says 2pm there so 7 here?
