    Huge frame for Ding.

Happens all the time with Selby.

I have seen at least four re racks in a match and a few times the same frame rereacked twice. More so when things get tense but he does play for a re track more often than others.

Ding should have gone 2-1 and looked like he threw the last one away after those early chances.

Some nice pots to close, his long game looks on just not his normal touch when in the balls.

Maybe the table is fast but did they play the same table/cloth yesterday?

Sorry, I take didn't see your smiley face they should have known better than to say that....

What match was the rerack with just link and black left? Made it sound recent and I haven't ever heard of it before.

Of course. Higgins and Selby re-racked the decider twice in their QF at the 2009 World Championship.

Good stuff from Selby in the first three frames this morning, but I am sure he will be disappointed not to be 4-0 up now. It seems like ages ago that he played that cannon at 58-0 and went through the gap, then never got another scoring chance to close out the frame.

It's meant to be a lie in today, not getting up 2 hours earlier. LOL It's a tough ask for Ding now, not as bad as the worlds but all uphill against the grinder. In their last final, was Ding behind or ahead early doors?

And the Pink/Black rerack mentioned by the British Eurosport commentators, you know that match?

The last final was shanghai which was pretty close all the way. The WSC final, Selby took an early lead which Ding never came back from. Same today? Who knows

I didn't know this as well so I tried to look it up. Joe Swail wrote on his Twitter account: "Just seen a re-rack with just the pink and black left...surely never seen that before...#ChinaOpen"
                  But no match is mentioned.

5-1 now to Selby. Ding should better win the two last frames of this session otherwise I doubt he will come back.

Won't be a lot of snooker in the 2nd session .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                              Utter destruction.

Selby hasn't played this confidently since, probably, 2014 WSC.
