It's great seeing jimmy still on the tour, but he must know his time is about up. He might be still capable on the practice table however under the pressure he hasn't got the answers. I would love to see him be world champion as much as anyone else but you have to face reality

Even Jimmy at his best 100% of the time he wouldn't make it in todays game, but the love he has for the game and still trying is great to see.

You won't believe this, I was flabbergasted but football players train most days and play every week, sometimes twice a week! And the dart players play every week in some sort of event. Now this is OK for rugby and football etc but not snooker. Snooker is exhausting, Baz needs to think again!
p.s. I've just read that junior doctors are working every day, sometimes 80hrs a week. It's a good job they don't play snooker 30hrs a week, they'd be ready to drop!

He's only dropped frames because Daz is playing amateur snooker, not professional, top 64 snooker. If Daz attempted to play top 64 snooker, he'd have no chance against Ron. :biggrin-new:

yeah, 2 - 2 Ron v Darryl and Brecel 1 - 3 Hill at the break.

I'd be very surprised if Ron didn't win here, but isn't it a positive thing that Darryl gets the chance to play him at this stage (without paying a few hundred quid for the privilege of course) the experience has got to be good for his development and thus the game as a whole, surely. Oh, and it's been pretty entertaining so far as well.
