Looking forward to the Jimmy vs Ronnie match.
Although Ronnie is the huge favourite, it's Jimmy's best and maybe last chance to beat him...
    Come on Jimmy!!!!

They said it was his last chance to beat him a few weeks ago also, Jimmy's going nowhere, plenty more meetings in ranking events, positivity is good
      Blown away

He has a much greater opportunity than he did in N. Ireland, Jimmy's form has been improving steadily ever since. I think he has a slight chance this time

For anyone unaware, because the Wilson-Lines match was over pretty quickly the O'Sullivan-White game is earlier than the estimated 2pm start, it's about to start in a minute.

Marco Fu has just had a 135 in his first frame .

              So he has played 11 frames in this tournament and his breaks are 104 , 60 , 68 , 110 , 58 , 142, 61 , 65 , 82 , 71 and 135 in frame 11 .

Now if Ronnie or Trump had done this would the internet be in meltdown ?

Whatever , that is amazing consistency . And form that wins tournaments .

He's scoring well in the third frame to go 3-0 up now, Fu's on fire. Meanwhile it could be going to a decider in the Maguire-Williams match

Jimmy with a tight arm is probably the best chance Ronnie can get to wear in his new tip, he can make several mistakes a frame and still win them

Just had a 113 in the 3rd frame , think he was on a break of 45 in the 2nd frame !

                    • I'd imagine the winner of this match (ROS) will play Allen later tonight, on this form both of them will be underdogs. Quite a poor showing, adds further weight to the p*ss up round town theory lastnight

                      • And another century by Marco Fu to finish the match.................obviously !

                        • I didn't catch the progress of Fu's last frame, but the score changed in a few minutes so he must of scored heavily and fast, looking dangerous for the tournament win. I think Trump has looked good so far too, Hamilton had a good performance today as well. As I type Allen has lost the first frame, but I'd still have him as favourite and he wouldn't need to play great to progress tonight on the performance we are seeing in the Ronnie-Jimmy match.

Edit: Allen is actually 3-2 up, snooker.org is slow in updating scores

                          • Allen's game has gone to a decider, as always it's a bit of a lottery who'll come through but I'd fancy a Allens-ROS match tonight

                            • Allen has wrapped it up barring snookers

                              • McManus has definitely improved his commentary style, he's been good during post match analysis recently too
