Totally, they've both had really good tournaments but there will always be a loser in the final. But it's hardly being a loser getting to the final and being a pro, I know the defeat would be hard to take but they have still done themselves proud.

He could push too much, I think that's the doubt, place more pressure on himself than he needs to. He'd have thought after his start he'd be 6-2 or 7-1 up. He might be cursing himself a bit or thinking this aint his day.

If that coming together with the ref really has a deciding implication to this match you'd have to question Higgins mentality a little. Why can't he brush it under the carpet? I think Selby would have just had a laugh and carried on as usual. This is the fine line between Selby and the rest, he's rock solid like a diamond, some of the rest are rock solid like a bit of sandstone and they can be chipped away at. It's a shame Selby didn't compete in this
