I enjoy that match, good for Mark to gain the advantage now (5-4 H2H) not many can claim that
Didn't have to but it was offered so he should have, still being a dick either way
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

In great sport, there is always history. With amazing talent, controversy normally follows. When Sugar Ray beat Hagler, when Seve beat Hale irwin.... People love to opine on luck, talent and worth. There's business to be done, nobody wants to watch "average" the feat achieved no matter how brash or mischievous it was absolutely brilliant! They are both from the same neck of the woods and have been street fighters on the baize since kids. He shook Marks hand once, job done. This fantastic rivalry continued the other day in the German masters , fantastic viewing again....long may it continue.

Hamilton seems like a good chap and I'm happy to see him doing well, so long as I don't actually have to watch him play if you know what I mean.

I don't mind watching him at all , great break builder and watched him compile an amazing break against Bingham last season . Was something like 65 behind , reds on cushions and cleared up to win the frame and match .

I don't think it was - King approaches Jan to shake hands, Ronnie gets there first and leaves, and King shakes hands with Jan - that's it.

I think it's a disgrace that the host broadcaster isn't showing a minute of the first semi-final live, nor any highlights later, as far as I can see. We have some youth ski jumping on one channel, followed by coverage of an insignificant cycling race, while the other channel is reserved for Bundesliga football, as usual. So I am stuck with Eurosport Player again, which wouldn't be too bad if it at least worked properly, but of course it does not! :frown:

I assume Odrl is watching International Eurosport where we have British Eurosport, they have different schedules
Odrl what issues are you seeing on Player? mine has been fine today.

I've basically been having the same issues over and over again ever since the last major update. It works fine for a period of time, but then the picture inevitably freezes for no apparent reason and I have to switch to another channel and back to get it working again. Either that, or I have to refresh the whole thing. Then there is the buffering issue, where a normal video stream would just buffer for a few seconds and then continue normally, but Eurosport Player has this "brilliant" feature where a little video starts playing in the corner of your screen, showing the live picture, while the main video plays the thing with a 2-second delay, making the problem ten times worse. And all this despite my internet speed being in line with their recommended one.

What else? Every time there are Bundesliga matches being played you get an update whenever a goal is scored, and that causes the picture to freeze most of the time. Oh, and the rewind feature almost never works. I've tried watching some of the early-morning Chinese matches with a bit of a delay, but it's just a nightmare. And if you do manage to get through most of the match like that, you can expect the dedicated snooker channel to be disabled shortly after the match finishes, so you have no way of watching the ending. Granted, that doesn't always happens, but it does sometimes!

I think someone using Eurosport Player on a PC with an up-to-date browser and a reasonable internet connection should expect it to work without major issues, especially if you're paying for it. It's still worth it for days like these when they can't be bothered to show any snooker on their TV channels, but there is just no excuse for some of the crap you have to deal with to watch a simple snooker stream!

                              Thoroughly enjoyed that match
Shame the score could not have been closer but that is the game we love

Yeah it was an interesting match, better than the scoreline suggests. No real fireworks, but lots of frames going down to the colours.

                                Looking forward to tonight.
