I thought that was someone in the audience (I was going to say crowd, but it's not) shouting out at the end there

And letting out the roar before potting the final blue was confirmation of that.

I was hoping that Trump could start trying to fill O'Sullivan's boots, but I don't think that's going to happen, as he loses both short and long formats
          on a regular basis

The greats in sport are determined by how they react when they are really up against it, I don't see that in Trump when he's in the trenches so not so sure he's gonna get to that level.

Must be a great feeling as he is a very emotional and fun to watch guy and coming from China will have a huge following as he gets better and better as I think he will.

I like his shot selection as it's not always standard and the guy even takes time to laugh which is good to see when it comes to dealing with pressure.

I think his coach should make him more hungry for success, but he just seems to have that blase "oh well" kind of approach to the game and life in general.

Why are they putting both the remaining quarters on plus the first semi final today? Why not just have both the semi finals tomorrow?

It doesn't make any sense? They should have had one 1/4 on this afternoon and the other this evening and the same for the semi's tomorrow.

Look at yesterday evening table 1 - Robertson v Hawkins followed by Wenbo v Perry and NO f*cker on table 2 bar the old dear in the front row!

yes all a bit weird, and as you say it could easily have been more sensible, 1/4s one day then semis on one day.
Yesterday when I looked at the WS sessions I thought there was a problem with their system
                        Up the TSF! :snooker:

I'm sure if Mr Hearn was organising the schedules things would be more logical.

always down to the Tournament Director
there must be a reason for this, probably never to be know

                            • I couldn't figure the planning out for this event most of the week.

It was hard to find a schedule before the days play.

I think the reason for the lack of a match is that there is a horse race on Saturday that itv4 are showing, I can't find or think of any other reason.

The scheduling for the snooker shoot out is the same, no play on Saturday afternoon which is weird as most people have the weekend off.

                              • I have no idea who did the scheduling for this Fu - King match, definitely not a fan.
