I know but it is still hard to trust the guy and not see him in the same light before all of that.

I understand what you mean, I was as angry as anyone at the time, but I think he had it quite rough for years afterwards. We all make mistakes and we all deserve a shot at redemption, no?

Well, what do you know, my favourite player just beat my least favourite player from 0-4 down. Happy times.

Yes it was, but that wasn't his doing, so it's unfair to punish him for something over which he had no control. I think he suffered greatly over the following few years and I'm pleased to see him emerging from the wilderness, as it were. However I appreciate that it's a very emotive situation and hard for a lot of people to forget, let alone forgive. But, first stone and all that....

I've had a throat like sandpaper all week and had to call in sick today but what a perfect day to be ill. Can't believe Ding made a comback like that but shows what a class act he is. Also caught the final frame with Murphy and Carter and am going to have a few hot toddies this evening watching Judd and Ronnie. This could be a quick one.

When I first seen that NOTW video I was shocked, but the more I found out about it and the fact that the first part of the interview wasn't
shown made me a bit suspicious. Mooney apparently told him about a sponsorship deal and if they asked any dodgy questions
just to go play along with it. The head of the sting Mazher Mahmood who has been involved in many controversial stings is currently
serving 15 months for perverting the course of justice.

Agreed. I like Barry Hearn less than Higgins. And I have always had the highest respect for Higgins as a player.

I know this will sound stupid to most of you, but the wasp incident really p***ed me off today. It wasn't the fact ref Colin Humphreys stepped on it, but that he didn't kill it. We were then treated to a close up of this thing writhing in agony.

Fair enough, if there's a wasp buzzing about the table it has to be dispatched, but the way he gently pressed his foot on it was pathetic. It was almost like he was trying to maim it. Either that or he was scared he'd get the carpet cleaning bill.

Cheers I'll remember that for when I want to tune in at the office. I couldn't stand going in today because yesterday the aircon was on all morning and I was turning to ice and having sneezing fits. A day in sauna conditions with the heating on maxumum and some great snooker has helped!
