It's not a massive difference, but still... Also, his opinion that Fu has a great record at the Crucible is another weird one, considering Fu has only reached the business end of the World Championship three times in 16 attempts. It's better than a lot of players, sure, but "great" it is not.
Just listen to something else and put the snooker commentary on mute, short of some inside info they might be keyed into which most often isn't a big deal and what little atmosphere there is in the arena you won't really be missing a thing.

Well originally because of the conflict, ding actually shouldn't have been allowed to play.
At least that's the message i got from it. They simply only let him come because he a home favourite. Had it had been another player of not such high profile, they would not be allowed to compete.
As it was ding and it is China, they sent him out but docked him.

I think the frame was docked because he was not present at the start of the frame, standard penalty for not being on time.
BUT the reason why he was not present was because the logo argument and the Sponsors(?) and/or the Tournament Directors(?) would not let him proceed to the start of the frame.
I think this should have been dealt with much earlier and not affect the match time.
Poor show in my opinion of the sponsors/TDs (whichever caused the delay), I hope there will be words backstage to ensure in the future players are not affected by sponsors wishes to this extent.Up the TSF! :snooker:

I really don't know why Eurosport always has to show O'Sullivan or the very top players (Selby or Trump).
There are John Higgins and Mark Williams playing each other and they show Judd Trump vs. Tian Pengfei. Granted the standing at the midsession interval is the same with 3-1 to the favorite in both matches. But still from the start of the match you would have expected that Higgins vs. Williams should be the better and closer match. Also you have two guys there, who are not longer on their zenith, but who are still among the top or in Williams' case better players on the tour and who have six world titles among them. Would have been the much more promising duel IMO.
